Can you provide the connections for the usb to db9 cable?
I accidentally broke cable while moving it. OR is that cable a standard part number somewhere in US hopefully?

I haven't opened the DB9 shell yet - maybe it will be obvious.

Thanks for the timely info. Just to confirm the DB9 is RS232 serial port?

Also what might be the issue be with FTDI - there are a lot of them in the world?
