Hi, I’m working with a VP-2500D (serial number 20191153), and i have an issue with the rotation motor of Head A1. When I test the rotation using the software buttons (rotate A1 left/right), the motor turns randomly in either direction, regardless of the command. This behavior does not occur with Head A2 (it always rotates correctly as expected).
My questions: 1. How can I repair Head A1? 2. Is it possible to run the machine using only Head A2?
Sorry for my late reply i missed this message. Maybe there are 2 possible problems. - power down machine - disconnect the connector from stepper driver A1 and measure the resistance between pn 1+2 and 3+4 these should be equal. If not the cable got broken. - second option the stepper driver got broken there is an led witch should light up and motor should be stalled if powered. If not sen message to sunny@smallsmt.biz for replacement part quotation.
Unfortunately, I still don't have any new information, and my cable connection has only been temporarily repaired. Can you at least give me the part numbers for the connectors of the rotation heads and the controler board so that I can make a new cable myself? Thanks.
