I've installed the software and copied over the config files.
The machine powers up OK. I'm working through chapter
2 and have a few questions.

2.2 No menu appears on a right click of the button shown.
Did you mean the pull down on the top?

2.3 There are several blue buttons on the front panel but
they do not seem to have any effect at all. Should the LED
display on the front panel be lit?
The head steps in X and Y but with steps that are
about 30 mm. Is there a way to reduce the step size?
The manual says "shift + control keys" but it doesn't
say what panel has to be open or what "control keys"
means. I tried PgUp, PgDn, the cursor keys, Delete,
Insert, Home, and End and none of them have any
effect on the step size.

2.8 Feeder question: The feeder control buttons on
the UI seem to control only the North feeder. How do
you get the buttons to control the East and West
feeders ?


So three questions:
1) Should the blue buttons do something?
2) How do you the step size?
3) How do you select which feeder to control?

I stumbled on the solution to the XY step size problem.
It is not in the manual but if you move the cursor into
the while area in the Movement Panel and right click
you get a menu with "XY Run Positioning". This menu
lets set the step size.

Maybe you could add a mention of this to section 2.1
in the manual.

The XY Run Positioning menu also has the "F Position Switch"
which selects which feeder to control manually.

The preset values are OK with me but I could
not figure out how to get the "Manual Settings"
that you display. Not a big deal since the
default values were good.
